I wanted to tell you about Activyst. They create awesome active bags that helps generate funding for girls' sports organizations worldwide by giving a percentage of all their profits to charities. They have already surpassed their initial goals of $25K and $50K to help fund Soccer Without Borders in Nicaragua and Uganda. They only have three days left to reach their new goal of $75K to fund young women in Ethiopia through the Girls Gotta Run Foundation.

New York, NY – Today, President Bill Clinton announced the program for the third Clinton Global Initiative America (CGI America) meeting, to be held June 13-14 in Chicago. The gathering will bring together nearly 1,000 high-level participants, including business, government, foundation, and NGO leaders, to develop solutions to spur job creation and economic growth in the United States.
"Leaders from all sectors of society will gather at CGI America to design and implement plans to boost our economy and improve the education and training of our workforce," said President Clinton. "Commitments made since the first CGI America meeting in 2011, when fully implemented, will create or fill thousands of jobs, provide millions of dollars in investments in small- or medium-sized enterprises, and increase access to STEM education to students across America. I look forward to seeing what this year's meeting will produce and I'm thrilled that Hillary will be participating in CGI America for the first time."
President Clinton will host the annual working meeting and encourage leaders to collaborate across sectors to create Commitments to Action: new, specific, and measurable plans to address some of the United States' most pressing challenges to economic recovery and long-term competitiveness, such as increasing employment, advancing access to education and skills development, strengthening infrastructure and energy security, and promoting business growth and innovation. Since its first meeting, CGI America participants have made more than 211 commitments valued at $13.6 billion when fully funded and implemented.

New Book: U.S. Must Embrace Old and New Energy Alike, says Michael Levi

Michael Levi Urges the U.S. to Embrace Old and New Energy Alike, in New Book May 2, 2013—"Everything we once knew about American energy seems to be changing," writes Michael A.
